Never seen a white one, but we'd have some Calico deer down here. This one is on Seabrook Island about 15 miles from me.

Wow Gordon, that's cool. I've only seen normal colored ones around here.

She has no brown on her, so I don’t think so, but she is not a true albino, either as she doesn’t have pink eyes, nose and hooves. She is just a good-sized, healthy white doe.

Very true OJ. Most people see a white one n think it's n albino. Only with the pink as you mentioned. The section of the county I worked held several albino n pie bald. Saw a pr of white fawns one day. Checking a road to top of Mt. Just started back down when I saw them. As soon as I saw them they turned n went in the tick stuff. Not sure if they was albino definitely all white. They are a beautiful animal 👍👍

That is way too cool OJ. From the picture I would have guessed it was a true albino (much like Edgar Winter). I’ve seen piebalds a few times but never one with that much white.

Those are what are referred to as piebald. Each one is unique!

Cool. I hope he makes it to breed more. I’ve seen one white doe crossing the road in front of me. Gone in a flash Didn’t get to appreciate it long. 🇺🇸🐠on

Nice unique animal!
She will have perfect camouflage shortly…😄
I had a couple small piebald bucks around for awhile, but then they disappeared. I was told somebody shot the from the road….
The colorization is cool, but they looke more like goats than deer. Definitely was skeletal differences present.

Outcast that's one of their defects. Shortened snouts along with other skeletal problems. They are unique 👍👍

OJ,
We have some hunting property up on the Tennessee line, and I have only seen one piebald on the property in the last 20 or so years, but I have seen a melanistic (spelling?) doe 2 years in a row, and she has also been seen by others in the family as well... Both times I saw her it was a week after season closed and I was happy to see she didn't get killed... A white deer stands out in the woods, but you wouldn't believe how much a totally black deer will stand out as well... She has no white or brown anywhere all you can see is black... extremely rare and pretty animal... All of that has seen her have said the same thing, that they wouldn't shoot her even if given the chance, we just hope the other property owners around us would feel the same...
Great Pics!, I wish I had been able to get some pics of our doe....
