Yeah but super BAD PR that they don't honor a Warranty that was by the same chain. My opinion is who cares if Mr and Mrs Claus buys a company or if JOE Blow buys it. The worst thing they could do is NOT honor any and ALL warranties. The manufacturers they contracted with is who warrantees the stuff anyway. I don't care much for Cabelas or BPS.

I had a Credit Card from them many years ago. I paid off my account like I always do with any credit. Well they closed my account. Well they made up my mind really quickly. I never went there again except for gift Certs I received. I have so many places to spend money if I really want to so why would I support a company that does this. Hearing and reading this gives me more reason to avoid them.

They try hard to push the credit cards Jer. Lowes needs watching also. When I moved here in 06 bought a mower n a couple other things. 10% off entire purchase. Instant approval. They put a $400 limit on the credit card. I called n voiced my opinion. They said it must have been something on my credit report. I told they was full of it. I had a credit check a couple months before n it was just fine. I left it unused so long they deactivated it 🤣. I don't buy big tickets items from them anymore

JER is another person.

I don't have any credit limit issues. They told me when they cancelled the account it was what all banks are doing.

I said well none of my OTHER banks are doing so. I just go get very little from them if absolutely have to. They have tiny #18 treble hooks. But really there are many places to spend cash. I don't shop there for status like some very obviously do.

I know what you mean J. I remember another guy I dealt with.. He had a Lowes card n paid it off every month so no interest. Card company told him he'd need to stop doing that. He did he got rid of card. I paid m Capitol one off. Next month I got a bill for a couple bucks. I asked about it. Interest accrued from time I got the bill n mailed it in. What a joke

I have multi millionaire buddy that won't use anything but cash. When he goes to purchase vehicle the geeks always ask him and how are you thinking of paying for it? He says cash while standing there in jean jacket and wranglers. They always go in back room and tinker for awhile obviously looking him up. Then they are like......well ok.

My buddy took the binos to the store and was told they discontinued that warranty program when they were purchased by BPS in 2017…however, they honored the replacement with a ONE TIME ONLY deal. He has a new pair of binos as of 5 minutes ago!
Thanks to all for backing me up!
Let the buyer beware!

Now that's a nice ending to your first post OJ thanks for the follow up 🇺🇸👌😎👍
