Want to share this with everyone on the stage this pic of my dad with his real nice ohio buck he took down this evening. This is the man that has made me what I am today he’s been there for me all my life teaching me everything he knows about the outdoors be it fishing hunting or just being a good human being. So fortunate to have him still out chasing deer with me at 71 years of age. It’s funny but it reminds me of him having to deal with me when I was a junior hunter. Anyways enjoy the pic and enjoy the outdoors it’s been a lifestyle for us.

Very nice 10pt!! Tell your father congrats from Cleveland! I haven’t hunted since the day my daughter was born. I was in a tree stand 11 years ago when the wife called to say her water had broke!! Going to make it a point to get out there next year with my dad. Thanks for the inspiration!!!

Tight lines

Congrats to your Dad on a great buck!
Thanks also for recognizing his efforts and I have no doubt he has a sense of pride every time you have success when you’re out hunting as well.
Continued good luck for as long as he is able!

Great buck! I enjoyed your picture and tribute to your father. You obviously treasure him and everything that he is.
I had the same relationship with my father. He passed away 5 years ago at 85. I miss him terribly. He was my best friend and partner in all outdoor adventures.
I’m so happy for you that you still have yours around. My wish for you is that you have the opportunity to make memories together for many more years to come.
May God bless you both!

Great tribute and a great buck. I posted earlier about my son and I's elk hunt 10 days ago. He got his first bull elk at age 52. He has helped me harvest four bulls and we have gotten countless deer and cow elk through the years. We were so happy to check this off our bucket lists we didn't even try very hard to fill our cow and buck tags. One of the most memorable hunts of our lives. At age 78 it may be my last elk hunt but that's ok. We made a beautiful memory together and that is all that matters. Congrats to you and your dad for making a great memory. Randy

Yes sir that also is on my bucket list but w dads knees not sure we can make that happen. I read your posts and thought to myself what an amazing trip that must’ve been glad you got to experience it w your son. And no shame in not trying to fill other tags some of my best memories came from unfilled tags. Lots of people think it’s a fail if tags are unfilled but they don’t know the memories that were made during the quest to fill them . Just being outdoors w the ones you love is enough for me. Happy hunting
