I love it! Liam has a t shirt with this on it. Re: excuses at work, I’ve gotten to the point where I just text my boss and say I’m not coming in. I still try to fish at places where I won’t be seen, tho. Lol

Betts, did you miss my asking how you're faring with the snow? Put it in a post day or so ago. OK?

I did, Kandy, and replied yesterday afternoon. Thank you so much for asking. 😌 The storm missed us, luckily, and all we had was a dusting of snow. I feel bad for the Buffalonians, though. 6.5 feet! It took my girlfriend 4 and a half hours to dig out her car. Yikes!

So, anybody actually ever used this line?

Better yet, what excuse to the boss / spouse have you used in the past?

I never had a cell phone till 2007 so never had to worry bout bein called into work on a day off. Unless they called the house before I left to go out. Always had someone else answer the phone, "He's not here," or I let it go to the answering machine if no one else was there.

B... nothing wrong with discretion. In fact, I believe there is a relevant saying but, more and more common lately, I can't remember how it goes

Maybe the saying itself is so discreet that it can’t be put into words. πŸ˜‚πŸ€

Nope, thankfully! Buffalo is about 75 miles west of where I live and the snow completely missed us. Thanks for asking.
