The professional players are fined for their wrong doings on the court or field, why aren't the officials fined for their wrong doings.

I like how you see what they called or didn't call an then go to Commercial. They're running alot of people away from watching the NFL

Back when they refused to stand for the National Anthem and kneeled instead ran me off right then and I don’t give a hoot about any professional sports, except my Astros. Back when they cheated, and got caught, they should have been disqualified. I didn’t watch them again until this year. A lot of the other teams fans haven’t forgotten either.

Yes, they have a union, but there is little accountability. Their performances are reviewed after every game and the best are awarded more and better games, plus post season games. How they still get calls wrong is beyond me, even with “big brother” in NY watching over and reviewing the calls.
The MLB Umpires are awfully good with the calls on the bases, but their ball and strike calls are questionable and inconsistent.
I won’t comment on the NBA, except they determine who is going to win.
Hockey Refs do a great job considering the speed of the game.

OJ it is a high paced job but some calls are so obvious. One game the defense had the receivers shirtail n was all over him before the ball got there. No pass interference. Then the blindside block call. The guy had hi hand on the other guys chest. How's that blindside 😒. MLB Angel Hernandez has mad so many terrible calls n he's still there. He was to fire a suit because he never got in any playoff games or series games. 🤔 Some I think just take more pride in their work 👍

The biggest travesty I have ever seen was the national championship game between the Miami Hurricanes and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Miami won that game in the final seconds and the field was rushed with players and fans, even the Ohio state players were heading to the sideline-when approx, 1.7 minutes after the final play an official threw a flag and called pass interference. The field was cleared and Ohio was given the ball and 1/2 the distance to the goal-they threw a TD pass and won. There is no doubt in my mind that there was a payoff involved-does anyone ever check the bank statements of these "officials".The ability to cause the final score has become a huge incentive to make money, due to money from betting. The "official" said later that he "threw the flag after thinking if he saw pass interference or not" Its too bad no one thought to look into his personal life later too see if there was any personal gain or not.

Are they God? It's happening in all sports. When I was coaching wrestling and we have a bad ref, we would blackball him, and we never saw him again. We couldn't fine him, they didn't make much money, to begin with.
What can we do? Your thoughts, please.

Good question!

Yea an it's alot easier to bet on them now too 😳 told my friends when they (NFL) let the raiders go to Las Vegas it wouldn't take long to _ _ _ _ the hole NFL. Now they teach ya to bet on games. That's the problem 😳
