Hack..... Fred and D Dave may well be right, so let's consider some alternatives, like a DeSantis & Kari Lake Ticket. Or , being more pragmatic, DeSantis and someone from Pennsylvania or Michigan, where the GOP could pick up a bunch of e*******l college v**es. Still have to take that anachronistic group into account. Why it still exists is too complicated to cover here IMO, but it ain't going away anytime soon. I can't imagine a weaker candidate than Biden or a better opportunity to grab the brass ring than now.
My personal favorite although she's a bit too much for a lot of people is Sarah Palin, I just love her plain talk.
But, is she electable? Prolly not.

I think Kari Lake would be a good choice for VP regardless of who POTUS is.

fisher.... I concur, she would be a good choice for America, but she has a big drawback as a candidate: MANY women will consider her a t*****r to her g****r, and would not support her, because of her opposition to a******n on demand. To me, that makes her a better choice, but that's only because I consider casual a******n, without medical justification, to be murder.
Instead of garnering additional v**es from women, she could d**g down the ticket. ( I think ) . Hope she gets the nod though, and that my analysis is wrong. Usually don't like being wrong, but this is one exception where I wouldn't mind in the least.
I'm hoping some of the female Stagers will put forth their views on this, as my perspective is only kinda as an outsider on the issue.

Kari Lake couldn't even win Arizona, kinda doubt that she would "help" anyone. Besides, she's another one like so many we see.(Lindsay Graham comes to mind) As I understand it, she used to be rather reasonable in her stances, but drank too much MAGA Kool-Aid. Nobody needs another "flip-flopper".

Surprised ?.....no, not really.
If I relied on Hannity or Tucker or Laura or OAN, to tell me "what I ought to be pissed about today", I'd probably have some unusual loyalties as well.

It's like so many scenarios that I could name.... religion preference, sports teams, dress codes, music preference, even species-specific fishing... it's a echo of what you yourself have adopted to consider "normal and acceptable".

It's also in lockstep with the old parable of "The Fox and the grapes".... hehehe.

I don't get 'surprised' at hardly ANYTHING that I hear these days. The ancient use of t***h as a filter before repeating something you heard, has been cast aside like fashion you no longer consider "cool".
And isn't much of all this bluster from the far right just an attempt to "slide right in with the cool kids", 'ya know....."be noticed" ?
