Hack... He sure gave it a good shot, while always facing irrational opposition from those who would never give him credit for anything positive he achieved. A flawed man for sure, just like we all are, but I believe he had the best interests of the American people utmost as his guiding principle.

I’m with you nutz, all the way. In his recent speech he acted very serious as he spoke about everything the current administration has failed to do. He didn’t make any personal remarks about anyone.
He left our country booming with everything he touched. I know he can do it again. He needs to continue being serious in his speeches so the v**ers will take him serious. It was mentioned last night that his kids and their partners don’t want to get involved with politics. I’m wondering if he will forgo a POTUS salary again. But, we need to get him elected first. I don’t know who would be his opponent from the lefties, and if Biden is it, Trump is a shoe in the way see it. Even the Dems don’t want him to run. Maybe it’ll be Hillary again and he can kick her butt again.🤞

Desantis would have a better chance to win Hack, without Trump. We have to face the fact that Donald has alienated too many Republicans, to ever win an e******n. If he winds up being the candidate, we have already lost. Half the republican party won't v**e at all if he's on the ticket. Every candidate he he backed around here lost in the mid term.

Hack..... Fred and D Dave may well be right, so let's consider some alternatives, like a DeSantis & Kari Lake Ticket. Or , being more pragmatic, DeSantis and someone from Pennsylvania or Michigan, where the GOP could pick up a bunch of e*******l college v**es. Still have to take that anachronistic group into account. Why it still exists is too complicated to cover here IMO, but it ain't going away anytime soon. I can't imagine a weaker candidate than Biden or a better opportunity to grab the brass ring than now.
My personal favorite although she's a bit too much for a lot of people is Sarah Palin, I just love her plain talk.
But, is she electable? Prolly not.

Hack Good luck @ the Doc's. Hoping all ends up well so ya can fish a double shift if ya need to. Bad enuff when ya got physical troubles, but when they minimize fishing time, that's the straw. Got my own set of old guy stuff that does that to me, & it bites !

D D .... While we're talking about lady candidates, I gotta say this again here @ the Stage. Former Secretary of State, Condi Rice, in my view would had the potential to be the G.O. A. T. President of the USA. Genius level intellect, great communication sk**ls, team player, sophistication, self assurance, clear head, broad knowledge of international affairs, hard worker, and the list goes on and on. Of course this is just my opinion.
I was and am a huge admirer of this unique and impressive woman. I only wish she had decided to pursue the Presidency. 🤔 . ( and don't forget Liddy Dole, Bob Dole's wife, another outstanding woman who would have done us proud ). Who did we get , Ms. Harris. Ugh!
