yes I have noticed that and at time you seem to enjoy a little on line trolling which I guess is because you aren't able to go out and do actual trolling like you use to. have fun say what you may and I will not take you to serious but still enjoy your posts but still I respect you as a person and wish I could actually meet you some day but not planning any trips to Texas any time soon not on my bucket list of places to see

As far as politics, I was a Democrat, an officer in the young Democrats club in college, but once I graduated and began paying taxes for any and everything, I changed parties. I almost joined up with LBJ out of college but my active duty orders cancelled that. A classmate, Bill Moyers drank the koolaid and became his press secretary. Strange thread here, for sure. I smell quite a bit of fiction with this one, RJS. Firstly, your definition of "exhaustive search" is extremely suspect, as an easy Google search would have given you a correct date of the book....1959...not 1991. And since Frank Sinatra (main character in the 1962 movie) would have been 76 in '91, you really didn't do 'exhaustive" at all, did you ?
And then if course, there's the notion that somehow Obama is c*********d. What a ludicrous thought going on there in your bigoted head. We have read some of your articles that disparage the Black man, kinda just have to owe it off to when and where you were raised. As my Father often said, when as a child I queried him about such assumptions that I observed others making about people's race or life choices....."Well some, many people like to express their fear of something or someone by making up a story that will try to break that person or idea down. They simply fear what they can't comprehend."
Obviously RJ, you fear an intelligent black man, particularly one who is able to slough off such disrespectful comments and assumptions of his past, and proceed with aplomb.

Obviously, with you, I can't ever be certain that you're not just poking a bear just to see what response you might get. An extremely juvenile way to go about starting a conversation, imo. But hey, it worked for Rush Limbaugh, unfortunately is STILL working for Alex Jones, and of course Trump...... just throw it out there and see if anything sticks to the wall. If so.... embellish and run with it.
I always have a good chuckle over the "pot calling the kettle black" scenarios like this one and the banter with Kerry Hansen on another thread.
L*****ts, Rightists, Red vs. Blue, Republican , Democrat, Capitalism, Socialism.... awfully sad that we can't accept any person or faction without a hard and fast label to "warn us" about what we might be about to observe.
How's about making the observation and THEN pass judgement, a much better way to approach your unknowns.
I certainly don't claim any "great understanding" of anyone else's world but my own (and often marvel at how at 69, so many new ideas and knowledge can change one's perspective), but I do strive to be fair and objective in every encounter I ever enter into. Sometimes it works wonderfully, sometimes I hit a brick wall. It's the successes that keep me plodding forward. It's the failures that make me try to correct what I am able to, but to not get hung up on to the point of exhaustion..... realizing that hope springs eternal, but sometimes reality bites hard

true to an extent but what I have heard in our area the left is the most extreme. maybe because I live in a very left state they just have more adds or maybe they are playing to a majority left population and know most won't call them out on what they say
