Went carping in 62 degrees Colonial Lake this evening during Hurricane Ian. The lake was a cold, muddy flood. Weather was drizzle with a nor’easter. Didn’t see anyone. Threw out a can of corn for chum, then caught 2 bluegills and an 8 lb com carp with canned corn bait. Landed 60 carp this year.

Glad to see other carp fishermen out there. Nice fish. I caught a 8# today also

Wtg. Carping is lots of fun. Didn’t catch any tonight in 47 degrees rain and 56 degrees lake. Tomorrow may be better.
