I once got a real good "end of season" deal at Dick's sporting goods. Maybe the same type of sales for waders or hip boots apply to your needs. Good luck.

Awesome thanks! And order a size up in waders correct ?

awesome catch there! I was just looking at Youth Waders on Amazon. Boys size shoe 4 or 5 for women's size 7. It gives innerseam length, waist, etc. I personally need to research the different materials they are made of and just how waterproof they really are. Have had motorcycle raingear supposed to be waterproof but in a heavy downpour were not. Good luck and share the knowledge please!!

Is it common to wade fish at night in Connecticut?

Yes... Here's a tip for those who would like to do it. Harness Park will allow ya to fish overnight while park is "closed" . Fishing: not partying, dancing, drinking, etc. Beautiful park with other stuff to check out during the day too. More info on D E E P 's website if interested.

I fish the same exact way. Every time I see good water I pull over & cast. Just learning how 2 fly; am 5'2" & size 9 shoe so I got men's small (8). Made by Night Cat; gray neoprene w boots on Amazon (hate giving them more business) - $80. So far they're working gr8!

The avatar shot is from Kayak Steve's first post, asking about Stripers in eastern CT.

There's lot's of them swimming around the Sound Butch. Night time is the right time for the big ones.

It's supposed to clear up here Wednesday night. Thursday and Friday are supposed to be nice. It should be sooner for you.

I hope so brother. Weather has been crappie since I got home. Grass is growing n I can mow. I'll mow at least one more time. Good luck if you get out 👍👍
