I only had one, a '68 Coupe, 6 banger , beater. My buddy had a '68 GT, Ragtop, with the 390 . That thing was scary.

Yeah Greg, the Boss 9 is a BEAST. A guy I know in the next town over has one. Hard to believe how much modification was required to stuff that 429 Shotgun Semi Hemi in that engine bay. They had to redesign the front suspension and move the shock towers out to fit it in there, and it's still a tight fit.

I believe it. Did you see that Ford will basically recreate any old Mustang you want now if you're willing to pay the price. It ranges from $200k on up.

I didn't hear about Ford doing that but there's several companies making brand new classic muscle cars. 69 Cameros, 70 Hemi Cudas, and Mustangs. They have made agreements with the original manufacturers and are issued new, Original VIN numbers. The cars are titled as the original year, but brand new.

My 68 GT Fastback. Stock with a 302 4 barrel carb. Not a Mach 1 though. Use to be mine.

I thought it was Ford Fred but it may be what you mentioned. We have a lot of car shows here in the cities on the edge of the mountains. You will see some beautiful Mustangs among other classics. We also have The Dragon(11 miles long, 321 turns), the bikers and sports car folks have rallies and run that thing. It goes from TN into NC. The bikers misjudged the turns sometimes and crash. Usually, the crashes are fatal.

That's beautiful Gordon. I was an Oldsmobile guy most of my younger days. I wish I had pictures of all of them, but all I have is my '70 Rallye 350.

I love car shows Greg. We just had our annual end of summer show last week. We get about 400 cars, not bad for a little town of 10k people. I've heard lots of stories about the Dragon. I'd love to ride in the Smokey Mountains, but the Dragon sounds too technical for me on my Harley. It would be fun on a Rice Rocket.
