We dug the red potatoes today before it got to hot. The old Farmall 140 did great. Was looking for a potato plow. Cheapest was 2500.00. A use one was 1500.00 but I saw a homemade one for 600.00 after looking closer I saw I had all the parts. So I made one and it works very good.we ended up with 5 bushel which was pretty good considering we didn’t get enough rain

You welcome we only had 3 rows but I am thinking if we would have gotten more but I am thankful for what we did get. I have given the elderly some and this Saturday I am cooking fish fresh red potatoes ( potato salad) cold slaw and whatever else they request for them.

Those look good enough to eat!!! I’ve got a good crop of weeds coming up here in Alpine on my 2.6 acres and I’ll post pictures when I’m ready to harvest them. I grew up in the city of San Diego and I couldn’t grow corns on my feet. If I want something to eat I have to go pay high prices at the store. In the mid 60s I moved to south east Washington state and tried to grow sweet corn and carrots in the shade and wondered why they wouldn’t grow??? Decided this city raised surfer dude didn’t know his surfboard from his hoe. I do love red potatoes. Larry. Not Little Larry.

Looks good. Maybe add some more Gusset around where the 90 degree point is. Beats paying huge dough.

Dang. Those look awesome. Mine are just blooming here. I have 32 hills of Yukon gold planted along with everything else. Sure feels good to have a garden again.
Nice job on the plow. Looks very professional and, obviously, does the job well👍
