Bees are very important to our survival. As a matter of fact, China is so polluted, they have no bees to pollinate their crops. They have to go buy it and try to pollinate by hand. So remember this before you k**l a bee, just because it’s a bee.

Yes they are. I had a beekeeper come and collect these. He was very happy to. Came right away and added them to a new box he had just set out. He shook the branch a couple of times into a bucket. He then found the queen, said she was very young, put her in a small trap and placed it in the bucket. Within five minutes, all but a few were in there with her. Pretty neat watching him work.

Bee cause he knows what he is doing. I would probably BEE in the Emergency Room with anaphylactic shock. It’s already happened once. Bees are important. My guess is the process to get laws to protect bees would be a longtime and expensive as compared to just changing what something is classified as in a state. It’s just to expedite the protection of them. Dangerous for some to get stung but a necessity for our survival.

Thanks for that and a cool picture, Put nature first, and we will survive, if we don’t???? Glad I’ll be in the dirt when the world finds out. But hey as long as you’re on the right side of the dirt, enjoy your food and just do what you can And go fishing 👍👍

If you need to protect bees then get a law or regulation in place for that purpose. There is a process for that. Courts seem to bee expanding their powers to allowing protection of anything that someone with an itch wants.

This seems to be a common problem across the country. Legislators refuse to properly legislate laws and judges make laws rather than applying them.
Everything does not have to be political. SMH!

That's the California court system for you. I h**e to admit it, but I agree with their intent, anyway. There's a severe loss of pollinating Bees in this country now, due to massive die off from some pesticides. Without Bees, there are no crops!

Fred, did any of your neighbors participate in “no mow may” for the bees. Some of my neighbors did. I’ve seen more bees in my yard since they were listed on the endangered species.
In Ca if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck….it may be a fish.

That explains it. I once moved a rotten log and was attacked by a school of bumble fish. SMH.

Not officially Mau, but there's a couple wannabes in the neighborhood. LOL. I've noticed the increase in the little ground Bees, but not Honey Bees or Bumble Bees.It does make a good example for "Figure it out BEFORE you pass the law", just as many of us have been saying for years. They're always in a hurry to DO SOMTHING, but don't think it through beforehand. The same thing that's going on right now.

What’s missing is morality and common sense. No such thing as a true fact anymore. Everything is being reduced to feelings. No respect for laws.
Feelings aren’t dependable.
Laws are.

I get all that. I had bee hives for awhile in the city. Honey won a ribbon in the Missouri State Fair. Then a contractor building behind me sued that I put the bees there to harass him. That’s a lot of work and expense to harass someone. But bending laws to suit a situation instead of going through the process of making laws is getting insane.

Hey Fred—I missed the “wannabes” in your response.
Intentional?
