Went out for an hour yesterday and man the wind blew. Found a couple fish in a protected cove with a point in the back end. Chunk rock with some pea gravel mixed in, water temps were back down to 54* and the fish have moved back out with this cold spell. Our fish are ready to spawn the weather just gotta get right. Been having some back problems the past few days so I took the boat back to the ramp.

Well, you caught you some nice meals there, Ivey! My back was bothering me, on and off and I remembered my brother going through all that, over the years... He ended up with a 1/2-way expensive "back brace"; which appeared to be more of an oversized "Ace Bandage"... So, when mine started giving me problems I borrowed it and it helped.
Well, he eventually needed it back and I was feeling better... The next time my back started up on me; I had seen these "Belly Band Holster(s)" on sale, over the internet and ordered 1. It sure does seem to help. (Also provides the ability to "concealed carry "!)

Nice catching as always Ivey!

I’ve had a bad back since I hurt myself at 19. The past year I started doing Yoga for bad backs and it REALLY HELPS. I’m not saying you put on yoga pants and do a class just google yoga for whatever part of your back that bothers you and do the stretching. If you can’t actually do the stretch do a modified version. Using a belt or band really makes things easier especially when it’s really hurting. I bet it will help. Hoping you feel better!

Nice catching Ivey, especially in those conditions. Sorry you're suffering from your back. I've got a couple disks that act up once in a while, and it sucks when they do. Feel better buddy.

I believe those yoga stretches probably work, I've had back problems for years and when it started I was seeing a pt and they taught me some stretches and exercises to do every day, they do help keep the pain down to a minimum and even no pain for periods of time, but you have to be careful lifting or just bending to pick up something.

The yoga stretches are probably very similar or the same as you where taught at PT. My back is extremely fickle I can lift stuff and bend but if I twist at all things go bad! Loosening up those muscles can only help. Tight lines

I kicked the bottom of a ladder the other day while putting finish trim on a flip house, weird what will throw a back out. Guess I'm getting a little old to be climbing around on a roof putting up trim.
