Thanks! We're only about 15 miles from Lake Burton and Moccasin creek. Even if you don't catch anything there it's worth the drive just for the beauty.
Wildcat Creek and the Tallulah River are both stocked with trout. Lake Burton is vety oligotrophic, (poor in nutrients), so fish populations are fairly low. There are some nice fish there, but you have to work for them.
