Question .
How do you go about making this pistol live in this truck door compartment ?
Start with a block of foam like this , make a ton of measurements and calculations . Then whittle away everything that ain’t a truck door holster. Cover it in felt and you are all set.
This one is actually presenting the weapon 20 degrees toward me so extraction is much more ergonomic than a straight up extraction. That made it much more complicated .
I reach with my right hand under my left leg and there she is.
Very natural
Looks good, but I don't know if I can bend that far.

That's right sweet lookin'; Ben... ¿Eyesight somewhat healing? (Maybe you should have applied for a "Design Patent" before Posting that picture!) I don't really know, that it would be considered "Patentable"; but... It certainly is a very good looking solution to the question of: "¿How do I keep my pistol where it needs to be?" Thanks for posting... I'm putting blocks of foam on my shopping list... ¿Did you get the foam at somewhere like "Pat Cattan's" (a "Hobby & Crafting Supplies Store")?

These are actually Yoga blocks.
Those who practice yoga use them for certain exercise moves.
Got mine on Amazon . Set of 2 for less than $20.
Carved the whole deal using a very sharp fillet knife and a white paint pen.
This foam carves similar to balsa. And hardness and density are just right
Used Gorilla clear grip glue for contact cement. It allows for some slight adjustment when the pieces go together. 1 tube of glue did it
Felt can be bought at any fabric store or Amazon .
Rough guess I got $25 in this project.
Great way to spend a cold rainy day.
Weather Tec could sell these by the truckload.
