I must be missing something I thought you were referring to the Russian people, which of our leaders think Putin is keeping the peace? I have heard several voice opposition to getting involved by sending our military personnel into the fight but they all see Putin as the aggressor they just don't want us involved in another war that is not a direct threat to us.

They v**ed against it because of the Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act provision into HR 6968, Suspending Energy Imports from Russia Act without due debate. It gives the President international powers above congressional law. If congress wants to give powers up to the President, they better be prepared to accept it when the other party is in office. Attached are two links related to the bill. This is one of the things wrong with congress. Instead of v****g for a specific piece of legislation, something else is attached knowing others will not or cannot v**e for it. The games have to stop. It’s why their approval is in the low teens. Personally, Russia needs to pay a heavy price for their aggression. Our own government won’t even keep us from being overrun. China will fill the void.
