¿Did it make anyone else, "reminisce about" their old "Mopar(s)"?
I had '67 "Coronet 440" (with a 318), also a '68/ a 318; and not to be left unmentioned; a "Sportsman Van"/ another 318! (Can't remember what year that van was, but, was still driving it, through late 1986.) (Good running engines.)

had an '81 van (318) drove it over 250K and traded it to the painter to paint my house. He still has the van.
Had a 75 duster with a 318. Had 285 thousand when I sold it and didn’t use a drop of oil

The 318 was bulletproof. A great engine.
I must have gotten the only bad one 1980 power wagon 318 gas hog n no pulling power gave it to my son n he sold it to someone else. Everything I turned around it needed something. 😒

I remember my Dad using Dodge vans as commercial work vans. I also remember my Dad turning right onto a one way road. He was looking to the left when he gunned it to hit an open slot in rush hour traffic downtown Atlanta. About the same time a "Wino" had stepped in front of the van coming from the right. Crossing the street at the intersection.
Well Dad hit that fella hard enough to knock him out into the busy intersection and kept right going, never stopped or not even slowed.
Naturally, I said "Holy Shiat" Dad you just ran that dude over, and without missing a beat my dad said, dumb SOB can't read.
I said, what? What the heck are you talking about, and he replied, it says "DODGE" right on the front of my van, if he could read he would have got out the way!!
Man I sure do miss those Morning rush hour traffic days with him driving. Just another work day fellas. (LOL......still).

Well, if it said Dodge, I usually would. Never owned one. As we said where I grew up, "Momma didn't raise me that way!" Just Sayin...RJS
My '73 Luhrs 28 Marlboro originally had a 318/225 in it. In 1987 I repowered her with a 318/240. Great running motor. When I married my first wife, we bought a '70 Challenger with a 318,4bbl in it. It ran great, till I wrapped it around a tree.
HAPPY 3/18 everybody.
