I am 72 years young. I live in Farmerville LA. I am in middle of boat refurbish and will miss crappie spawn this year. I will be ready and waiting next year. I LOVE to fish for crappie and have limited out at 50 many times. Cannot wat until I finish the refurb. Have been following forum for some time.

Welcome to the Stage David. We have a bunch of boat rehabs going on this year. Good luck, and post some pictures of your work, we love pictures.

trying to spend most of what spare time i have on boat. The more i do the more i find to fix. right now i am removing old carpet glue. Thinking about replacing wood deck with .090 aluminum.

I believe Dozer Dave , and another member, whom I can't remember, just did the same thing . Like I said, there's a lot of rehab going on here. Maybe start a new thread if you have any questions, maybe save you some time, or money. Good luck!

¡Believe it or not, I was JUST about to suggest that same thing! (I had read about "little DAVID's" intentions, a short while back, but; ... I've got no practical experience with all that, and didn't wanna "PROVE MYSELF to be IGNORANT "; so, I remained silent... When I saw this most recent notice of "a new post" in my email, the exact thought "struck me"... Ben Bragg also might be one, to "provide useful advice". There's also others, who might "weigh-in" on the subject!

Great minds think alike Able. I know another guy replaced his front deck with aluminum just a month or so ago. I just can't remember who. I know Dave did his floor, when he replaced his fuel tank, and there were a couple customizations.
007 tricked out his jonboat, and J did some work on his V-bottom floor, but there was someone else.
