Great point, Ivey. On-line is certainly easy, but sometimes I want to “pick it up and feel it”. Can’t do that on line.
And I, too, am guilty of on-line buying.

Would that be Walmart? I always troll thru sporting goods with my basket of milk and bread. Racks are chronically EMPTY. No sinkers, no hooks...but they have plenty of tackle boxes...just nothing to put in them. Lol.

Living in a small town, I try to buy local and I tend to frequent our mom and pop bait shop. Open early, open late, great young couple.

The places around me like Walmart, Academy, Dicks, Bass Pro, are out of what I want except if I order it. But, I’ll have to pay shipping and I can get on Amazon and order it without having a shipping charge. I’d love to frequent local shops for fishing gear but they never have what I’m looking for.

I agree with you Mr. Ivey. Too easy. Especially when your situation is like mine. Nearest sports store is 30 miles away from me. But what I do, every time I go to Sam Rayburn or Toledo Bend or Lake Fork or wherever, is buy something from the tackle shops closest to those locations. Every time. I don’t care if I pay a couple of bucks more for an item there than I would on- line. I feel better knowing I’ve helped them in some small way keep their doors open..... My 2cents

Never cared for this store. I just checked it out today and found nothing of interest. Bass Pro, Cabela's, Tackle Direct, Sportmans Warehouse and even Walmart and many other stores have better deals; some with FREE Shipping ! Even the SALE and prices are kind of bogus. They charge at least $50.00 and UP for shipping ! SAVE your valuable time and avoid this store ! Good riddance !

I've bought things from Tackle Supply Depot several times, and never paid more than $10 or so for shipping. WTF??

The very first page of this link was for www.TackleSuppyDepot.com. Like I said before this "going-out-of-business SALE (?)" is a big waste of time. The ridiculous and OUTRAGEOUS SHIPPING shipping charges starting at $50.00 and UP made me want to vomit !
