My wife had a stroke four years ago and despite the doctors speaking death over her The Lord healed her completely. (A story for another day)
She was tired when she came home from the hospital so I started to cook and never stopped. ( She Cooked the first 46 years of our marriage.)
One night and one night only—- she griped about how I made the food. My answer to her “ Gee honey I don’t mind cooking but if you’re going to complain about it…..” Something I’d heard before. Her answer from then on was smarter than mine. From then on whenever I’d ask her how she wanted something cooked it was always the same” However you’re making it is fine!”

You did a wonderful job there my friend. I have a small prime rib in the instant pot (sous-vide), going with small potatoes cut in half, covered with French onion soup mix and a little olive oil. It won’t begin to compare to that meal. Both Sue and I like to cook, she does cook more often than I do to be honest.

WH, if you could be a fly on the wall I think you would be surprised at the number of really fine men are out there. I think a lot of them hide it in self defense. I have only met 1 true JERK in my life and he was a duzzy.
