OK guys and gals, prepped dinner for later,my wife's last 11 months working ,she is so special! Anyhoo I very much enjoy cooking and grilling for her ,I'm 6 1/2 years older than her so that's why she's still working and I'm ,,,,,well missing her , so I try and make her happy with food, in Spanish there is a saying "pansa llena , corazon contenta" it means a full stomach = a happy heart! Have a great weekend my friends, and good luck with all your playoff teams!! (except Tampa Bay )๐Ÿ˜Ribeyes,saute'ed garlic shrimp, saute'ed mushrooms in olive oil, butter, garlic, and red wine, grilled garlic, collard greens, rice a roni, and warm french bread! I wonder how many beers it will all take me to finish๐Ÿค”๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿคธ๐Ÿป

Jar..... Outf******standing ! I was not going to leave the house today, but now I've got to visit the butcher, and also cop some fresh shrooms. Your photos brought on a revision of my plans. Yum. Might as well get a nice bottle of red to wash down the meal, too.

My wife had a stroke four years ago and despite the doctors speaking death over her The Lord healed her completely. (A story for another day)
She was tired when she came home from the hospital so I started to cook and never stopped. ( She Cooked the first 46 years of our marriage.)
One night and one night onlyโ€”- she griped about how I made the food. My answer to her โ€œ Gee honey I donโ€™t mind cooking but if youโ€™re going to complain about itโ€ฆ..โ€ Something Iโ€™d heard before. Her answer from then on was smarter than mine. From then on whenever Iโ€™d ask her how she wanted something cooked it was always the sameโ€ However youโ€™re making it is fine!โ€
