JP4, now that user name brings back some fine memories. JP4 was jet fuel back in the day. I was a prop tech but shared a hanger with the Jet boys. Yep some good memories there.

Welcome to the stage JP4, nice write up. You will do well on here.

Yeah I picked up on the JP4 tag also. My quartermaster bn had all the chopper fuel supplies for the grunts.

Hey everyone! I’m Jon, 52y, I reside in Luxemburg, WI. I have a wife and daughter age 11. My daughter and I are BIG ice fishing enthusiasts. Her and I have ice fished together for years and she was hooked for life when she pulled her first fish through the ice 3+ years ago. It was a 42” northern caught on Shawano Lake in Shawano County, WI. She is interested in joining the ice fishing club at her school but has to wait a couple years as her school team is only available for high school students. In the meantime I’m preparing her for it.

I have been fishing for most of my life and have fished everywhere from the ocean to the local pond. My greatest love though is ICE FISHING!! I’m here for information and help with ice fishing and love to share tips, techniques, locations and more. I greatly appreciate everyone who is willing to share information I.e. bite, locations, conditions, hot spots, etc.

I look forward to learning more from the pros and amateurs alike and will share with all.

Thanks for having me here!!

Welcome Jp4 from a former (always will be) cheesehead living in NE TN. I fished northern WI in some pretty cold weather but never got into ice fishing. Caught a lot of northern but nothing as nice as the one your daughter landed. Enjoy the Stage.

Welcome to the forum. I don't fish hard water so I can't be of any help with that but there are many on here that do.
