I thought since yโ€™all were interested in the Electric Vehicle article, youโ€™d love looking at these old gas guzzlers. Most of us grew up with them and really loved them. I hope you enjoy looking at these as much as I did.

You saw the Chrysler with the auto shifter on the steering wheel and the dash didnโ€™t you Kerry? I knew about the dash but not the steering wheel. I didnโ€™t know about the radio button ๐Ÿ”˜ on the floor.

Pretty ingenious inventions, for the times Hacksaw.

I remember when Buick came out with power steering and you could turn the steering wheel with one finger. Remember on TV, every year, waiting to see what the new cars would look like Dakoda? Now itโ€™s hard to tell one from the other.

Myself OJ. It took a lot of thinking and drawings to come up with those things trying to out do the competition.

You know! Chrysler and Plymouth were always coming out with different gadgets every year to compete. When they came out with the push buttons on the dash for shifting they were tagged a โ€œtypewriter transmissionโ€. Thanks for sharing Kerry.

Yep, my uncle had a 56 Plymouth with buttons on dash instead of shift lever.
