And they will be deserved, but I was watching football and there may have been a Leinie’s Toasted Bock (or 2) behind that one. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it 😂

Welcome to the Forum, Walter, maybe there was more bass then. I'm just guessing.

You are probably spot on Leo! More people fishing now, with better technology…locating and harassing those poor fish like never before.

My guess is electronics telling people where the fish are. Before we had to go out and find them. And that more often than not was the fun part if you have a good group of folks!!

Back in the day we would catch more Bass with less tackle choices and definitely less technology what's up with that

Back when I was a kid we only had 2 or 3 artificial baits so spent more time in learning how to catch fish with what we had. Now there's so many lures available that it's hard to decide what to use. I'm thinking about just picking out a couple or three lures and trying them for a month or so and see what happens. My choices would probably be purple rubber worms, red & white spoon and some type of top-water bait. Have fun fishing and enjoying the outdoors!
