There was never any thought put into it, I know if I had ever needed anything Phil would have been there for me. He was one of the best fishing partners I ever had and his passing really took the wind out of me. That was 1978, Phil's on the right

A little similarity for you Ivey. I lost my BFF friend at work going on 7 years now and he had just hit 50. Cancer took him within 2 months of knowing he had it. Phil was his name.

He was a Electronics Engineer that i would work with and not for. That is a very rare combination from the white shirts that i worked mostly for over my 35 years in the business. He was the type that had my back and i his in some interesting projects. Upon his passing it was like losing a brother.

Morning all, The crick in my neck that started Sunday morning turns out to be Arthritis in the joint below my scull and C1 vertebra. It's pinching several nerves and causing muscles to spasm with not a lot they can do without cleaning out some of the spurs. The Doc. started my on a steroid pack yesterday with hopes it will reduce some swelling and take some pressure off the nerves and hopefully give a little room in there. Now it's hard to move my head to look to either side or even open my mouth very wide. I know this is miserable and severely cutting into my fishing time. With a little luck the steroids will get me back on the water soon. I'm right in the middle of a stem cell procedure for my back and the Doc. hopes this will help that area some too and he's not alone hoping it'll help.

Ivey, I hope and pray it All works out for you in the Best possible way. I also believe, if it doesn’t endanger your life or hamper the healing process, I can Hurt in the Boat, Hurt on the Lake Shore, or Hurt in my Favorite Chair at home all the same. What ever is best for you, is Always Your Call.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes, I'm over the worst part after the steroid pack half way thru it. Neck and shoulders still stiff and sore but not as bound up as I was.
