OJ, I've seen three in my life time. All in wisconsin. Two were does and one was a buck. The buck had kind of a splindly rack. Wonder if that is part of the Abnormality ?

The last one I saw was across from the entrance from Holy Hill, but that may have been 7-8 years ago. We look for her every time we go through, just in case…
If you go to the Florence County Wildlife Interpretive Center website there is a photo of the buck I mentioned. He was a strong 8 or 9 pointer when he was poached. I tried to copy the picture to show you all the mount, but failed…

I've seen Johnny 3 times, and Edgar probably 5or 6. Saw Edgar here in Waterbury, when right before the encore, we heard :
"People keep asking me,, where's your brother?? Come on out Johnny!!!!"" Followed by the best performance of Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo, I've ever heard. Edgar, Johnny, and little Rick Derringer together on stage! Yep,the good old days.

That had to be a cool show!

Yes it was OJ. If I recall Johnny was scheduled to play at a bar in New Haven, Toads Place, a week or so later. He was probably just hanging with Edgar. They've done that with each other in many places back then, or so I heard.

How interesting, the Holly hill location. One of the doe I saw was in the Richfield area. Couple miles East of Holly hill. Mine was 25 years ago. Guess there is a gene on the loose!

Apparently so..
I just went to the Interpretive Center’s website and took a bad picture of a bad photo (looks like he was being chased by a bull moose). 😂

Cool, almost looks like a Goat with antlers. I’m not much for Goats, it’s the eyes that send me. Makes the hair on my neck stand up!

That’s funny, I have a similar feeling
Maybe it comes from all that head butting?

Gee Grizz, that is awful. First I've ever heard of something like that. It never occurred to me to fear folks in the woods with firearms, except for those people who * get drunk * in their cabins and then venture out to hunt.

Gmon Nutz. It happens more than people know. Look up the Appalachian trail n read about the assaults n murders that have accured on it. I'm sure several here have found someone in the blind or treestand.👍

The neighbor across the street from me sent a couple photos of an albino doe that had just passed through my yard, heading W through the neighborhood.
I will put the trail cam back out to see if she sticks around.

That is totally awesome Oj! I’ve never see an Albino, but years ago I saw an almost totally Black one out scouting with my Dad. And no worries here Grizz if I get the opportunity, I’ll hang one on my wall for sure.

I have seen black squirrels, bear (of course) and pheasants, but never a black deer.

OJ I've seen several black squirrels. One uncle had 2 mounted. Never saw n all black deer but have seen a couple that was black across the back n rest of body real dark brown. Spent enough time outdoors n you see many unusual things. 👍👍

OJ That's very cool. I hope you can get a close look.

About three years ago I had one cross a lake road in front of me. It was a little north of Eagle River. I slowed down to watch and saw a white fawn run up to her and start nursing. Needless to say I'll always remember it.
