It’s winter here. Decided to share some tricks I’ve learned along the way.
Don’t always work . If they did , they would name rods and lures after me and my picture would be all over bass pro shop catalog.
I’ll try to share some more tips. Sometimes I just stumble on something. Sometimes it’s lots and lots of refinement.
And just when you think you have it down , the fish change their mind.
Stupid fish!!!
My main hang up is when something I know should work and it’s not, I’m slow to react.

Fred.... I do the same thing. Clear Lake is pretty big and last time I ran 20 mins to fish a new area. I hour, no fish and ran all the way back to spots I catch fish before. Pretty hard to learn a lake that way.

Old Dogs...... Buddy. I'm gonna have much more weekday time this year so less traffic. I may go so far as leaving the tried and true gear home. Then I won't have a choice but to follow thru. There's also a couple more lake's that I've never fished, that I want to try before pulling up stakes. All we need is a good weather year. Hoping and praying.

The hardest things to see are those right in front of your face sometimes.
