It costs money to leave the light on for you! Especially in Ca. Not to mention gas. Be careful! Balance isnβt what it used to be when you get older!
Please let us know when you are home safe so we can stop worrying. π π

Can you use a small blower Saw
No, I have a vinyl roof and can only use plastic shovels or risk cutting the vinyl.

Thanks Smitty. I have one with the handle extensions but my roof is flat and it's hard to use it on my roof unless it's later in the season when the snow on the ground elevates me enough so I can reach deeper onto my flat roof.
Plus, you have to keep up with it so it doesn't pack down. It's only good on soft snow.. As soon as the snow gets packed the rake won't go down through the hard crust of snow and ice.
ho-re clap, saw
sounds like a major headache. good luck and stay safe. hope you have help.
