Now that is what I'd call a huge rack of remorseful regret!

How long did he drag the other along before its head popped off?

It’s a sight to see Andy. I have seen them spar at times but only a couple of serious fights. When they are serious, you’re can walk right up to them. They are concentrating so hard on each other that they pay no attention to anything around them

I’m going to guess the one may of already been dead but who knows if no one filmed the fight over girlfriends. I am thinking the head and horns could of been on the ground but the other ( alive ) one saw it and decided to fight with him because he was in rut.

Just a guess. If the dead one maybe had been shot is another scenario. Maybe they were both just healthy deer and the fittest survived.

The reason I think it was dead is the alive deer will shed yearly so they dead one should NOT be dried up like it was dead on the ground.

I saw a battle between a HUGE 16 point and really nice 10 point in a residential neighborhood. The 16 gored the 10 in the stomach and it died in someone’s back yard. I called Warden and was able to tag it and get the meat. This was before camera phones, would have been an awesome video!

A friend of my boss in Nova Scotia found these two unfortunate bucks, wonder if the coyotes ate them while still alive. Nature is absolutely beautiful but at the same time can be cruel.
