I took a ride to the lakeshore off Oak Creek earlier to catch the sunrise.
First light was very pretty from up on the bluff, so I dropped down to the beach, near the boat launch. 19 degrees shortened my interest, but I shared the visit with half a dozen Mallards, a muskrat and a couple deer as I was leaving. The lake trout and brown trout are in the harbors for those who may be interested.
The 3 little bucks were checking out a new construction site on top of the bluff as I was leaving.

Love the title- the promise of a new day.

I have yet to get out there, but they will be out there through the Winter. I may try if the weather cooperates, though. They were featured on John Gillespie’s Waters & Woods last weekend if you’re interested. That episode looked a little rough for me and my little boat, though!

You can, but the ice can be treacherous on the jettys and sea walls. If the weather is decent it can be good, but bring a long-handled net as some are high off the water.
They catch a bunch through the ice, too!

Flyguy. She jumped outa the truck one day n said she'd walk home light turned green I told her to get in she slammed the door. I went home. She got home n hr or so later. She was mad. Couldn't believe I left her in that part of town n made her walk. I told you to get in n you said 🤬🤬🤬. She thought I'd go around n come back. She guessed wrong. 😂😂

Had a similar situation with the
'ex' one time ! She wanted to stop
in at her sister's house for ten
minutes (she said) - she finally
came out about 25 minutes later !
It wasn't appreciated, so the next
time she wanted to drop in, I told
her she had FIVE MINUTES - at
five minutes plus ten seconds,
I would be gone ! Guess she didn't expect me to actually leave her
there, either - I get home and the phone is ringing off the hook !
Told her to get a ride home from
her sister or some other friend
or relative, as I warned her before-hand - after the third angry call, I pulled the phone cord out to stop
the constant ringing ! The next time she wanted ten minutes, she was in the car after about 8-1/2 minutes !
