The promise of a new day

I took a ride to the lakeshore off Oak Creek earlier to catch the sunrise.
First light was very pretty from up on the bluff, so I dropped down to the beach, near the boat launch. 19 degrees shortened my interest, but I shared the visit with half a dozen Mallards, a muskrat and a couple deer as I was leaving. The lake trout and brown trout are in the harbors for those who may be interested.
The 3 little bucks were checking out a new construction site on top of the bluff as I was leaving.

What a nice way to spend the morning! If I'm not mistaken, each one of those deer is wearing a set of antlers! Very cool!

OJ beats the crap out my morn so far. Early appointment at dermatologists. Took a sliver for biopsy. Traffic in Frederick MD. Is nuts. Wife decided she wants to shop now. Started with one place one return. Yea right. She wanted to run into Costco to use restroom after I got gas. That was 20 mins ago. May see her by lunch time.

Why don't you go home, go back to bed, and then get up to a new day? It has to be better!
