New to southern Wisconsin

Howdy just moved from north west Arizona fished there for about 20 years so this will be a new type of fishing. also fished in California saltwater and freshwater for 35 years so I have fishing experience just not in the mid west. I will be fishing for all types of fish that I can catch.

Just Fishin 62: Well Hoss, if you have fished in Arizona for 20 years and California for 35 years, you will not have any problems in Wisconsin. There may be some differences but nothing you cannot master. Local bait shops can direct you and also there are a lot local fishermen both there and here on Fishing Forum who are experienced and who know Wisconsin. Just Sayin...RJS

Welcome to the Stage Just Fishing. We've got some excellent fishermen out that way. Do you plan on fishing the Hard water as well?

Welcome Just Fishin 62 from a former cheesehead now living in TN. Depending where you are in southern WI, OJ may have some great tips for you. I fished the Fox Valley area and northern WI, near Eagle River, before moving to TN.

Welcome js62. Maybe you can find a fishing partner to show you the ropes locally, or just get advice here. I'm not sure their range extends into the southern area of Wisconsin, but Musky fishing would be something different, yeah? Good Luck, & it's nice to have you.

Have not thought much about it. I have seen it on TV but the places I lived before this won't do it this year but you never know about the next year.

There is only one this cheese heads like more than fishing. Just buy a Green Bay tee shirt, sweat shirt and hat and ask at the bait shop and you will be good.
