Like your quote Henry. I tell myself that a lot especially on a day that I fail miserably. I think most people have a higher opinion of themselves than other people have of them……myself included.

Welcome aboard, Cat. I'm never disappointed if I lose a fish when he's made a run or two. That's what I came for. That's why I'm still fishing at 83 when I should be home watching 'Life Below Zero' or some other equally fake reality show on TV. Every time I feel that little bump at the end of my line I'm wondering if that was a tiny little whiting or a 32" Red? When I get so bunged up I can't make it down the dock to my boat or when that little bump no longer intrigues me, I'll stop all this nonsense. But not until I'm sure there isn't just one more adventure out there. Keep your rod tip up and your line tight.

Did I mention frustration and anger when she bust the top of the water fighting and , poof out flies my lure or the line breaks. 45 years of fishing and I have not yet land that baby. It always something and 99.9% of the time it’s my fault once again.
