Work comes and goes. Sometimes busy, sometimes not so busy. What do you working people do to get your paycheck? I work for a small property management company. Mostly take in monthly or annual dues and make sure things keep working and fix them when the don't.
I am a general contractor but I mostly do kitchens and baths anymore.
Iβve had up to 8 employees as well as various subcontractors going at once. Decided less is more and itβs really helped. Just myself and 2 apprentices. Personally make the same or better money with way less headache.
I'm the Senior site super for a mid size general contractor. supervise the subs and in house labor for quality control, on schedule, safety compliance, materials delivery. mostly do knock down old houses and build condo's, some historic restoration in the Boston area.
I gave up working. It interferes with my free timeβ¦ππ€£ππon
I am a Project Manager in the Sales Dept for a European based, high-speed packaging company mainly focused on the beverage industry.

Retired oil company worker . Hired in with gulf oil in 1975. Worked in the same refinery location until 2018. When I had shoulder replacement surgery early that year, I decided β heck with going back β. Much better off now.
