Here is a little test that will help you decide.
The answer can be found by posing the following question:
You're walking down a
deserted street with your wife
and two small children.
Suddenly, a Terrorist with a huge knife
comes around the corner,
locks eyes with you,
screams obscenities,
raises the knife, and charges at you...
You are carrying a
Kimber 1911 cal. 45 ACP, and you are an expert shot.
You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family.

Does the man look poor or oppressed?

What about the kids?
Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand?
What does the law say about this situation?

Do you have to live in a specific area of the globe 🌎 to protect yourself and family I wouldn’t hesitate to defend against anyone who tries to hurt my family or self if you have any backbone your just protecting wh**ever right

True, and I fully agree, but that was intended as a light-hearted response
(and kind of a little poke in the ribs)
for many of our Texas friends, as in Texas it seems like it is almost
considered illegal NOT to carry !
The impression given is that you're not a true Texan if you DON'T have
a gun rack with a rifle and shotgun
in the back window of your pick-up truck ! Not finding fault with it, just amused at the perception
(perspective ?) ! Too bad it isn't like that everywhere, as I'm pretty sure
the crime rate would take a serious nosedive if everyone was 'packing' !

Very true. We don’t have any issues, at all, here in my area cuz we all carry. You don’t want to go to Coleville Washington and try to change their lifestyle. Everyone is packing there. Even the teachers and waitresses at the restaurants. Some people are not good with change. Especially if they have deep water (Alaska) or heavily wooded areas (eastern Washington). Wolves will clean up evidence fairly fast too. FYI. Texas has a very unique set of rules. I’ve been there and I back them 100% in their thought process. We need more of that EVERYWHERE and we’d see a nice change. I’m seeing a nice change in many places now👍

I could be mistaken though, don't own a Kimber.I'm too cheap.But I get the point, who needs to think when family is in danger. In my State though, you would face a real chance of arrest and prosecution. Excessive and unwarranted force. Folks here really believe that stuff for the most part?!? We're a blue state although the towns surrounding mine went red in the last round of b****ting early this month. It's a start.
