"What’s your personal best day out or fish for the season?"
Look for the above post and read what jfango from Missouri posted. Couple of us asked him to repost in a separate post, but in case he doesn't I wouldn't want anyone to miss it. Definitely worth a look.

Great minds think alike Spirit. I was about to do the same thing. I know there’s a way to post a link to the post but I couldn’t figure it out. Maybe a more knowledgeable stager could post the link?

Thanks for referring us back to that post, Spirit. That was definitely worth going back and reading, since I DID miss his post the first time around. I choose to call that a Divine miracle....
But that’s just me. 😉🙏🏻
Thanks Spirit, he was successful at re-posting, too. Great story!
Oh no Randy. Are we going into discussion of free will? I had some of those conversations with an ex-muslim coworker. It hurt my brain. What a fantastic young man though. A very free thinker.

Not at all. I was just saying I believe in miracles, even though I know some people don’t.
Randy we know that you believe in miracles, but the discussion we are having on G's post is about unanswered prayer and the miracle that doesn't occur. Why are some blessed and others appear to be cursed?

I didn’t realize we had gone back to THAT thread. THIS is NOT that thread. This thread was started by the new poster and re-started by you. Am I wrong?

In answer to your question (or whomever asked it), all my answers come from the Bible. I won’t post them in their entirety because most people have access to a Bible and can look them up. However, if anyone would like me to copy and paste them on here, I will be happy to do so.
Here is (part of) what the Bible says why we are “blessed” or “cursed” :
BLESSED: Prov. 3:33
Psalms 29:11 115:13
Matt. 5. The Beatitudes
Luke 11:28
John 20:29
CURSED: Psalms 119:21
Galatians 3:9-14
In a nutshell: If you give God your heart and soul, He WILL bless you. This is not saying you will never have problems. In fact Jesus said we WILL have “problems”, but He will be with you to help you through them.
“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.””
John 16:33 NLT
