It's funny, I watched suspended leaves go under my boat, and the little fishy symbol popped up on the screen. I never turned it on again.

I've Got a Healix on the front and a Garmin Livescope, sometimes the Healix will show fish but the scope don't show them, and I know the Livescope shows fish in real time. I've seen fish take my bait on the Garmin. The Healix sometimes pick up things that aren't fish.

I guess I’ll have to experiment with the arches…🐟on

By design any sonar should pick up everything in the water column. In normal mode, fish should be arches, and other objects as various dots, squares,or lines, depending on size and shape. When you turn the Fish "ID"setting on, nearly everything not connected to the bottom shows up as a fish. That's why I call them Fish Liars.

I have a 4" raymarine dragon fly DI on my pond boat. Optics on it are great. When I got it I paid slightly over$100. Check transducer it may not be level. Just a thought. Electronics can be a pain. You'll find alot of guys only use finder for depths n temps. Good luck getting it figured out 👍👍
