And they say size matters. NOT !!!!!
This would not be a PB for me...but it is one of my favorite bass photos as caught trolling in my kayak. On this particular day I was running 2 lines, and the bass were more than cooperative...hard to make them stop biting! My "go to" lures are Rapala crawfish and shad patterns in a jointed J5 size. This rascal, by my educated guestimation, would top 4 lbs, and probably be pushing 5. Most of the fish that day were 3 pounders and numbered to about a dozen.

Love that Rapala crayfish lure.
Nice fish. Nice pic!
This was 1 of 2 caught one weekend. Both were fractions short of 30"
This is my best one with the fly rod.

Very nice looking Fall brownie! Sweet to catch that in what appears to be a modestly sized stream...especially on the fly!

Beautiful laker! Nice for the grill or smokehouse! I've actually even done those in the deep fry, and with the right seasoning/batter...they are pretty darn good that way too!

These are my top 3 crankbaits for bass...either casting or trolling. But I have to admit that a classic Mepps spinner is always a good choice as well! My favorite is the #3 or 4 sized black fury with Mr. Twister tails...typically yellow.
Rapala shad, crawfish and then a Hot-N-Tot in crawfish as well....
smallies find the Mepps black fury spinner to be irresistible!

I know I always dig seeing pictures of some great catches. I thought this new thread would be a great place for everyone to post their best fish caught photos. I’ll get this started.

Ah, I knew small dogs had to be good for something!
