Even better! I've got to try this out. Thanks for the tips!
You’ll be glad tou did DC….i dont use the 3 way …i just hook the rig and sinker right to my snap swivel….also from the surf i find a pyramid sinker works better.
Back to the original question of what fish and on what. If you have a cast net break it out and you should be able to net your bait right from the surf or on the sound side. Fish they've for as long as you can keep them, then go to the mullet rig shown. Bluefish will be available, you should find some puppy drum cooperating. Try some night fishing on a moving tide with a C rig and an 8/0 circle hook and you might be able to come up with an old red drum bull. You can find them daytime as well, but night us best. Should also catch some sea mullet/whiting or pompano on a lighter rod and shrimp bait. Good luck.
Thanks ready to go this morning,
I’ll let you know. Russ

Kitty Hawk next week. What am I going to catch, with what and where? No boat on shore fishing only.
Thanks Russ
Kitty Hawk, NC ? Would be helpful if ya weren't " in hiding " ! ( helpful for YOU )
Thanks. 8 small ones, whiting, drum, Pompano
Glad you got into some fish. Just as an FYI, if you push quote reply to respond, it makes it easier to tell who you are responding to. Have an awesome day.
