The water on this lake gets pretty warm mid 70s in summer. It always gets some algae long as I’ve been around, but last couple years it been like soup by mid August.

Reminds me when my step dad got mad at mom and threw a pot of pea soup out on the back lawn. Killed about 4 feet of grass.

Not from the boat but from the car or pickup.

Well, when your dog figures out what you need done, he will do his best to do some of it for you.

I have heard of farmers who were beginning to irrigate their crop. They were going down the row, clearn out the trash and debre to up a stream of water. Watching him for a minute or so, the run ahead and scratch and clear the trash out of the ditch and try to get the water flowing. Hey! We are a team! Just Sayin...RJS

Temperature and (Phosphorus usually comes from laundry detergent ) cause the blooms. They are bad news for pets and human consumption. Thanks for sharing the fun day Bric. Cool buddy on the bow.

Haha, we rescued the little guy during the covid shutdown. He’s a good dog, not yappy, doesn’t make coffee nervous by shivering too much. Wife would show me pictures for weeks of other dogs saying we should “foster” a rescue for awhile. This one came along, knew right away we were taking him home. Btw “foster” is code for “adoption” Lol
