Hello again Bert. This is Wednesday evening after I get back to the motel. You mentioned the lakes getting big water in a hurry. This morning there was 0 wind with high wind for the day at 7 mph. We were going north from the boat ramp to Larson's Reef fishing for smallmouth.. When we got around the break wall we faced (huge to 2 Okies)huge waves, 4 feet & better. Where did they come from with no wind. I carefully drove the boat about 2 miles north & the waves were worse so I turned around & headed back to a Cove that was protected & perch fished. 2 days left on this trip & I sure would like to get into some smallie's. Can't stay longer as my fishing partner Bill goes under the knife on the 22nd for prostrate cancer.
