It's time again, to "pay attention to" what exactly is it, that you are about to "put into your mouth"!!! = Hostess has issued a "Voluntary Recall" for Hamburger and Hotdog Buns. ... ALSO; another warning, of an unrelated sort = there has been a death of a child reported, in "Central N.Carolina"; as a result of an Amoeba found to be present in "a Central N.Carolina private pond" (yah, I know; Central N.Carolina is a pretty big place) {I'd've thought that they might've "narrowed it down" a little...}... The wee critter is called: "Naegleria fowlers" and they are often found in fresh water. It is a single celled animal, and doesn't seem to cause harm if swallowed; the problem begins, if'n when the rascal(s) are "forced up the nose", like when diving or jumping into the water, also, like if ya wipeout, while waterskiing (& ¿WHO doesn't, from time to time?)
It turns out that these wee bastards can cause: "Primary Amoebic Meningoencephalitis" (Try and say THAT; 5 times, real fast!)
