Don’t Park Near A Battery Charging Station

This makes me nervous to know I’ve parked at a charging station when there wasn’t any other place to park. I won’t do it again...

What you see in this video is an electric car at a charging station with a shorting cell setting off all the rest.
Note the time it took to destroy 3 cars, 1.15 minutes.
The first car was destroyed in about 38 seconds. The fire cannot be extinguished with water.
No fire department will approach a burning battery-powered car because of the toxic gasses produced during the fire.
No recycling place will take the car's remains because of the toxic chemicals the batteries contain. You own it !
If you have a gas or diesel auto, don’t park close to a charging station!

I couldn’t believe what I saw. I wondered if the driver in the big truck backing up survived? Scary stuff.

I know right! And I have parked in them for convenience. Never ever again. Not even close. There ought to be some warning signs. I’ll never own one of them for sure.

Jeepers! What a catastrophe! Never knew that could happen. I have recently noticed that we are getting more charge stations set up around our community. Definitely going to avoid being anywhere near them! Thanks for posting!

Me either Cam. Never. Can’t believe it lit up so fast. Signs need to be posted and the stations need to be farther apart, but what do I know? 🤔

Are some of these stations also receiving their power input from a diesel, or natural gas generator? Sounds foolish to have to generate electricity with a hydrocarbon product. Why not just fill up with gasoline. Just Sayin....RJS
