Good Morning, hoping everyone is doing well. I love to fish but I am not great at it but still love doing it. I am looking for fishing locations in the Los Angeles area that I can enjoy while catching some fish. I would also like for these places to be kid and dog friendly if possible. So many grandchildren...lol

Well I hope to hear from you all soon and thanks in advance for you assistance 😊

They have been catching the small sharks at Santa Monica. But try Huntington Flats

Lakes and rivers we usually hit are all out towards San Bernardino county. Riverside county and San Diego. You have Guasti park in Rancho Cucamonga Prado in Chino. Glen Helen in San Bernardino they are having a catfish derby next month. Santa Ana river lakes in Anaheim just to name a few.

Hmmmm...maybe when we are traveling to the Carolina's you can be of assistance. Went to Mytle Beach a couple of years ago, fished off the pier there , met a few awesome people had a wonderful time!!!

Pier fishing can be very productive.

There is plenty in Orange County. If Malibu Pier is still standing it was always a good on too.

Castaic Lake. Best with boat though

Lived and grew up in Whitter and raised my family in Yorba Linda.
From April tell June a lot of the city parks plant trout in there ponds or lakes and there is a number you can call that will tell you the days that they are going to stock.
And they also stock catfish , but when they do get there early !!! Because it will be crowded!!
For the trout in these lakes use at least a 2lb test floral carbon leader line about 24" long and with a sliding egg weight on mainline. And I only use 6 to 8 pound test line on these park lakes.
Good luck safe times on the water
Any more ? I'd be glad to help you out
