I really like the way it makes my swimbaits have a rolling action to go with the tail action

That's personal preference Steve, I like the worm to look like a snake on the high speed return to the boat. The same with flukes. I've never seen baitfish do barrel rolls, so I try to imitate what I see. If it works for you, go for it! That's what's great about fishing, so many interpretations of the same basic principles.

In that case Henry you would be fine, the swivel will eliminate the twist. I switch from a TR worm, to a wacky worm, to a jerk shad, on the same rod, so I don't have anything but a small snap on my line.

Ya Fred I like using a small clip also as I'm constantly changing what soft plastic baits I'm using on my soft plastic rod. And most of the time on my rod I use for hard baits

Fred...it doesn't barrel roll. It rolls side to side without turning all the way over. Do you really use a snap swivel? How far back from the hook?
Pretty smart if it works for you. A lot better than using 10 rods like me. Lol

Walmart have gotten bad here to !!
Andy

Where I live (Mesa/Gilbert, Az.), there
are no less than eight Walmarts
within an 8-mile radius of my house, plus a BPS and a Sportsman's Warehouse - since this damned
COVID crap began, nearly ALL their racks in every store have been
picked clean to the point where it's hard to find so much as a package
of split-shots, and re-stocking at
most of them has been almost nil !

Only racks that still have decent
stock (lures) left are the pricey ones ($8 to $12) at BPS and Sportsman's Warehouse - nice to have, but not on my budget !

I agree with you.
I almost think these stores want us to go on line to buy are equipment !!
I like to look and touch and fell!!
My son in law buys all his equipment from Amazon
To me that's no fun !!
I remember when I was a kid I would go with my Grandfather shopping for fishing equipment we would go to sporting shop to sporting shop that was before all the big departments stores. We'd spend alday shopping!!
I miss those days 😪(and I'm 69 yrs young)
Have a great day and safe times on the water.

I've always found worms to corkscrew with an offset hook. Swimbaits not so much.
No snapswivels here unless trolling spoons for Trout. I use a #1 Duolock snap on all my rods to facilitate quick lure changes. I clip them right to the hook, or lure.

Fred
I have never used that snap before worming dose it change the action of the 🪱 or its fall?

Not much at all Andy. The hook probably weighs as much as 15 or more of the snaps.
But it makes changing colors, or worm sizes much quicker.

I think it's a time saver Andy. You know how it is, never enough time on the water.

Fred here the norman speed clips i use. The smaller one's. I attached the barrel swivel on for lures that made creat line twist. The bigger is a duolock with swivel also use w/o swivel. I'll rig up several plastic so all i gave to do is take a few to change. 👍👍
