very sorry Jarhead to hear bout your loss I'm sure he knew a hellava lot more than squat back in the day I coached a peewee football team had 35 boys on team almost half of them went to Nam 4 0f them didn't make it back terrible waste of fine young men the post was a joke but it would have been better to send me
Loss of life serving in battle = hero,bravery, honor roll. Nam and coming home from Nam was tough. Young people didn’t respect the military. Hero’s in my eye.

I'm also a Viet vet , no offense was meant, but we certainly did not have a whole lot of "wisdom" I was shot twice, blown up and buried alive.....certainly not the smartest route.

That’s horrible. Great you lived to talk about it. Sounds like a country song with a happy ending. Shot twice, blown up and buried alive—and that was only my first wife!!
