Looks like you’re doing a great job bruce.
I’m waiting for my grandson to get out of the Navy next month so we can go fishing.
He’s been serving on the USS Abraham Lincoln. I hope the SS Fish Dancer isn’t too much of a disappointment for him. Lol. He’ll probably be happy to not have any duties except to kick back and drown a worm.
Good looking GS and nice stringer of fish. 👍

He'll get you shipshape FD. I see you had loading problem. My tracker had no guides when o got it. I installed the back ones. Still had trouble loading at times. Mostly fish rivers so current one way wind the other. Jet boats do not respond well a slow speed. Most ramps are steep so i shimmed up the bow end. That helped but at 17'9"" still alot of boat not contained. Found a junk boat that had same guide ons. Boards rotted bu all i wanted was uprights. Put them on front curve of trailer. Now pvc poles catch bow n put it on the stop. Works great. 👍👍

Thanks Griz, I’m going to do something similar. There were a couple of guys sitting on the dock getting a good laugh.

I have had the distinct pleasure of teaching my two grandsons about the pleasures of fishing. I feel it is important that we share our knowledge about this grand sport with our next generations. I try to encourage them about respect for our sport and the environment. Leave your area in better condition than when you arrived. Catch and release and keep only what you will eat. Learn something new every time out. Be safe. Our children and grandchildren are our succesors. Let's teach them well.

Nice job Bruce. Looks like he has learned his lessons well. Keep him interested and he'll fish for the rest of his life. My 16 year old grandson is my best fishing buddy and has been for years .

Bruce, “Legacy is not leaving something for people. It’s leaving something in people.” - (Peter Strople), I’d say you’re working on a fine legacy!, good job!

Good job Bruce
I can’t keep my grandson off the game boy , or whatever the heck it is , long enough to get any appreciation out of a fishing trip.
Brand new bass boat that flies, all the electronics , gps mapping , remote trolling motor , power poles and one of the most comprehensive selections of rods reels and lures you will likely ever see.
He’s Still not interested. Ready to go home 15 minutes into it.

Hey Ben....Thanks for the response. I feel ya buddy. It's a shame that technology has tried to overcome nature and the great outdoors like when we were kids. I am fortunate that my two grandsons have taken to this wonderful sport the way they have. Maybe he'll have a paradigm shift as he gets older and he will appreciate the great gifts nature has gifted us. Hang in there Ben, don't give up hope. Happy casting.....Bruce

Thank you Yankee. Sharing time with our kids and grandchildren in nature is priceless. Times they will always cherish. Long after we are gone.
