I have had the distinct pleasure of teaching my two grandsons about the pleasures of fishing. I feel it is important that we share our knowledge about this grand sport with our next generations. I try to encourage them about respect for our sport and the environment. Leave your area in better condition than when you arrived. Catch and release and keep only what you will eat. Learn something new every time out. Be safe. Our children and grandchildren are our succesors. Let's teach them well.

Thank you Gordon....he's 6 yrs. Old and just loves to fish with his Papa. He baits his own hook....casts and strikes them by himself. I'll take them off the hook for him but he strings them up. He's a real trooper that kid.

Bruce grandkids are a wonderful gift. Make all the memories you can. My best day ever or the water was the day my grandson caught his 31" 5lb tiger muskie. He was around 10 at the time. I my a proud pap that day. 😁😁😁

Now that is what i call bringing up the next generation the right way. Sure let them play their inside games but love to see them outside. Especially with a rod in one hand and a bonus of fish in the other.

Thanks Bruce you get the award.

Doing it right. I look forward to when my Grandson is old enough. He is 3 months old now. It will be awhile but that is great you are teaching him about environment. Too many ignore that.
