That was definitely a good day, even if it still hurts. Ice was and is the best remedy for reducing swelling and pain. That farmer should name that little one after you.

Agreed! That’s the nastiest spill I’ve ever taken in the river. My mind keeps telling me I’m still 25, but my body keeps reminding me that I’m 52 and I have to be more careful. 🤷‍♀️

Update: I went back out the next day because I’m stubborn like that, and addicted to fishing! Yesterday & today still licking my wounds. HaHa

That is an awesome day. Nice brown .Noticed you got him on a cannibal Rapala. What did you do with the goat?

Thanks Hawaiiguy! I love rapala, but they sure aren’t made very well anymore and real pricey! I returned goat to the field with the herd. 😊

I just saw your post. Terrific photos as usual. Sorry about that knee but it looks like it'll be fine. I'm 73 and still try to act like I'm 30. But I'm learning. Can you tell me why those rocks have gotten so damn much slipperier than they were 20 years or so ago?

Thanks GinnyLee! Nope, no one has ever taught me how to fly fish yet.

2 different doctors sent me for "MRI's" AND "CAT-Scans"... The verdict with ME was: "Son, you've been hit in the head TOO MANY TIMES!!!"
